Our Team
Our research team is a talented group of over 25 researchers who are passionate about advancing the field of modern power electronics hardware. They are at the forefront of technology, driving innovation, and developing cutting-edge solutions that push the boundaries of what is possible in the industry.
With a state-of-the-art packaging facility for power modules, we have the capability to design, assemble, and manufacture customized power modules that meet the specific needs of our customers. Our experienced researchers leverage their expertise in SiC-based medium voltage power modules, accumulated over 8+ years of dedicated work in the field. They bring a deep understanding of SiC and its applications, allowing us to deliver high-quality and reliable power solutions.
In addition to our packaging facility, we have a comprehensive testing facility for power modules and power converters. This facility ensures that our products undergo rigorous testing and evaluation to meet the highest performance and quality standards. We leave no stone unturned in delivering power solutions that excel in efficiency, reliability, and durability.
Our research team's expertise extends beyond SiC technology. They also possess valuable experience in GaN (Gallium Nitride) and SiC power modules in general, enabling us to explore a wide range of possibilities and provide comprehensive power solutions tailored to the unique requirements of each project.
Jannick Jorgenson
CEO of AAL Power Group
Jannick, our CEO, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to APG. With a Masters in Nanophysics and Nanomaterials from Aalborg University, Department of Materials and Production, he has a strong academic foundation in advanced materials and their applications. He spent five years as a research assistant at Aalborg University, Department of Energy, where he focused on exploring the potential of Silicon Carbide (SiC) in medium voltage power modules.
With a deep understanding of SiC technology and its implications in power electronics, Jannick has been instrumental in driving the development and commercialization of SiC-based medium voltage power modules. His technical expertise and visionary leadership have positioned APG as a pioneer in the field, catering to the growing demand for customized power solutions.
As CEO of Aalborg Power Group, Jannick spearheads the company's strategic direction, fostering innovation, and building strong partnerships. His passion for clean energy and commitment to sustainability drive APG's mission of electrifying everything, transforming industries, and powering a greener world.
